Emelie Milnikel joined the ASG family in 2016.  She is a graduate of Grand Valley State University (Go Lakers!) where she majored in Communication Studies and minored in Advertising and Public Relations. In her capacity as Internet Researcher, Emelie builds client lists, manages databases and assists with market development projects designed to support the Financial Practice. She takes pride in her ability to multitask, leveraging her time with optimal efficiency to manage several projects at once.

Emelie loves connecting great people with great companies, and is happiest when she’s buried deep in a database of well-aligned pairings. Her belief is that the relationship between recruiters, clients and candidates should be one of mutual respect, and this philosophy informs her approach to her work.

During her off time…

Emelie enjoys spending her free time with her loved ones—her fiancé Steve, both of their families, and their friends.  Together, Emelie and Steve love to work out, go to sporting events, play trivia, play board games, and go to the movies.  Currently, their lives are filled with wedding planning and excitement as they are getting married on April 7, 2018!

Emelie and her fiancé Steve are involved at their church, Immanuel Lutheran.  Emelie is also a member of the planning committee for the Run the Plank: 3 Miles of Faith 5K sponsored by St. Peter Lutheran Church, St. Isadore Lutheran Church and Immanuel Lutheran Church, which raises money for Macomb area charities.

Emelie’s family consists of her fiancé, Steve; her mother; her brother, Alex; their dog, Hans and their cat, who is also, oddly enough, named Emilie.  Emelie says that her mother is her hero and an inspiration, perfectly embodying the virtues that Emelie values – motivation, caring and compassion. Emelie’s mother raised her and her brother as a single mom, and according to Emelie, has always worked extremely hard to provide a good life for them.
